Baby Names Will Be Easy After This…
Fun fact. I was less apprehensive competing at my first Olympics than I am about sharing this. Fortunately I’m well practiced at battling through nerves, so here we go!
I am so excited to finally reveal the title of my debut epic fantasy novel and, as a bonus (because people are always asking what it’s about) share the back cover blurb! I’ve been working on this book for more years that I care to admit - and it’s changed so much that it’s hardly recognisable to what it started as - and I cannot wait to share it with you all later this year. Next week I will also be introducing you to my cast of characters, and next month I will be revealing my cover and announcing the final release date! It was surprisingly difficult to come up with a title I liked and that fitted the story - it took much hair pulling and teeth gnashing, but I got there in the end and I have to say, I’m so happy with it! Big thanks to my hubby for his patience while I screamed at bits of paper, and all his help researching all those good titles that turned out to already be published books. I don’t know why I’m writing this here, since he doesn’t even read this blog. I guess it’s so you all know how awesome he is!
Now, what is it all about I hear you ask? Look no further, my friends…
And when can I get my hands on this fine tale, you ask? Well, the exact date is yet to be finalised but it will be out this summer, with pre-orders available from the spring!

Footnote: I just showed my sister a sneak preview of this blog post (it’s Friday night at time of writing) and she asked if the title of this post was my way of announcing that I was pregnant… just wanted to clarify that is not the case… I just ate a lot of cheese over Christmas…
