Two-time Olympian, blogger and author of the epic fantasy novel, Blood of Ravens.
A lover of books and all things magical, I took to writing as an escape from the pressures of competing in one of the Olympics’ more obscure and controversial sports – target shooting.
Following my retirement from international competition, I transitioned into a management role – supporting the next generation of Scottish athletes – and started a blog, sharing some of my experiences and lessons learned during my time as an athlete.
But I had two dreams growing up: compete at the Olympics and become an author. Ironically, the latter has proved more challenging than the former but my debut fantasy novel, Blood of Ravens, is out now!
